I have been
riding street legal bikes for over 30 years, so I know
what to look for when deciding which brands of bikes
we choose to sell.
Roketa are
one of the largest U.S. companies that imports bikes from
China. There are many importers who just import whatever
bikes they can get from China at the cheapest price, with
very little interest in the quality of manufacture or
components.
But Roketa has
a branch office in China where they have complete
control of the manufacturing process, to ensure high
quality workmanship, high quality welding, and
to ensure that quality components are used on
all their Roketa bikes.
The Roketa
scooters are strong and durable, and the motor and
transmission are extremely reliable. I have mostly
ridden Suzuki and Honda bikes in the past, and I
truly consider the Roketa scooters to be of equal
quality to the Suzuki and Honda bikes I have ridden in
the past. Actually, most Suzuki and Honda bikes
are made in China these days too.
The Roketa
scooters handle very smoothly at higher speeds, with no
vibrations like you tend to get with many of the cheaper
scooters.
It is
designed for two riders, and there is no problem riding
two-up on this bike.
The 3 year /
30,000 miles warranty is a full replacement parts
warranty against any defective parts, including engine
and transmission. If there was any problem with your bike
just email me right away, and we would send you whatever
replacement parts were required to resolve it for
you.
It is a
replacement parts warranty and does not include labor.
Most parts are easily fitted, but you can use a mechanic
if you wish, but labor is not included in warranty.
The following
items are not covered under warranty (except for shipping
damage) unless at our discretion: Tires, rims, body
panels, fuses, forks, shocks, gaskets, light bulbs,
seats, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, clutch wear
parts, cables, drive belt, chain, spark plug, any part
made from rubber, brake linings and/or pads, batteries,
sprockets, external springs, clips, nuts, bolts,
fasteners.
These bikes
are very easy to maintain and we recommend doing
your own maintenance, so that you get to know your bike.
The recommended maintenance schedule is detailed in the
Owners Manual.
If your Bike
is looked after well with regular maintenance, it
will provide you with many, many years of reliable
service.
